In accordance with the law of 6 January 1996, as amended, on Development cooperation and humanitarian action, and in the interests of transparency, each year the Luxembourg Directorate for development cooperation submits a report to the Chamber of Deputies on its operations and activities, together with a statement specifying receipts and the breakdown of spending by country, sector and type of mechanism. Moreover, in its development effectiveness action plan 2014-2016, the Luxembourg Directorate for development cooperation also undertook to communicate to the international community, regularly and in a transparent manner, on its programme and disbursements, in accordance with Development Assistance Committee (DAC), and, ultimately IATI, standards and channels.
